WELCOME EVENTS
NH&R teams up with the Office of Alumni Relations to host “Welcome Events” in various co-op cities around the country (currently NYC, DC and Northern California). These events take place in the beginning of each co-op cycle (January & July). Our Welcome Events are a great way for local co-ops to meet one another, as well as area alumni, while building their Husky community.
NETWORK CONNECTOR PROGRAM
Our student “Connectors” plan events for fellow Huskies in their city, creating communities around the globe! Events include: sporting events, ice skating, museums, dinners, shows and tours. Previous locations include: NYC, Seattle, Singapore, Paris, Athens, Honolulu and more!
CO-OP/ALUMNI MENTOR PROGRAM
This program brings alumni and co-op students together, expanding their personal network. Mentors share their professional expertise in order to help students navigate their careers. Co-op students are also able to gain access to alumni who are leaders
in their fields.
BON VOYAGE & RELOCATION INFORMATION SESSION
Join our for dinner as we listen to a panel of students who have completed a co-op outside of Boston. You will also have the opportunity to meet other students going to your new city and learn about housing opportunities & resources.
BEYOND BOSTON INSTAGRAMMERS
Our BB Instagrammer Program gives students the chance to share their co-op experience with other students as they travel across the globe. Students, staff and alumni follow @nu_beyondboston on Instagram to see what students are doing and to get a glimpse of their Beyond Boston experiences!
GLOBAL BLOGGERS
Do you enjoy writing and sharing your travel experiences? NH&R hosts the Global Blogger Program where students showcase their life outside of Massachusetts. Student bloggers write about a variety of experiences from working abroad to enjoying international food and culture!
