Hey everyone, I’m Will Hanvey, a rising fifth-year studying Data Science and International Affairs. I’ll be posting weekly from my co-op as a Data Scientist for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp professional baseball team in Hiroshima, Japan. This will be my third global experience at NEU, following a study abroad at the University of Tokyo last spring and a co-op at the Center for Asia-Pacific Resilience and Innovation in Taipei, Taiwan last fall (which you may recognize me from, as I was also contributing to this Instagram while working there). Back in Boston, I’m President Emeritus of the International Relations Council and President of the NEU chapter of the Japanese National Honor Society. I look forward to having everyone join me as I revisit some of my favorite places in Japan and visit a bunch of cool new towns, too! @willhanvey
